New Detour Trail review (link)

Detour Trail review excerpt:

“This book is certainly filled with a lot of adventure and drama. And I love that the main character, Lorrie, is one gutsy chick! She is definitely someone I would want to have with me if I was traveling anywhere!

This story gives us an honest view of what life might have bee like for those travelers. Everything wasn’t all daisies. They were some hard times and this book does tell of all that!”

Detour Trail update

I sent off my bio, book blurb, etc. to the publisher, and then I worked on the questionnaire for the cover art.  It was fun answering all the questions to give the artist ideas–the setting, the time period, the tone (light, dark, …) category, physical characteristics of the main characters, a plot summary, …  It made me focus on the story, and now I’m really looking forward to seeing my cover!

Detour Trail (upcoming novel)

I just signed a contract for my western novel, Detour Trail.  It won’t be out until next year, but in the meantime I have to work getting information together for the cover art, etc.  It’s  a novel about the frontier, beginning with the Oregon Trail…  It’ll be an e-book and POD (published by Melange Books).
