NaNoWriMo is upcoming (November 1), and I’ve already registered and am thinking about my plot. (I finally have one.) And I think I’ll start with a prologue–again.
An editor asked for the full ms of one of my novels after I sent a query. That makes me feel hopeful…
I have three of my books at Meet the Authors Book Fair at the Eau Gallie Civic Center, Melbourne, FL. That’s November 19 & 20, 2016 from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM: http://www.floridabooknews.com/
And I received nice feedback on a recent contest entry. ‘Course the deadline isn’t until December 1.
Linda Adams makes good points here about writing, including NaNoWriMo, though I confess I focus more on word count than time. Read her article on writing:
Productivity, Word Count, and Fiction Writing.
Since it’s November 3, and National Novel Writing Month started on the first, you can see that I’m behind. I did finish reading the novel this will be a sequel to, but I don’t have a plot yet. I do have lots of characters and a few possibilities…
I finished writing my 50,000 words for National Novel Writing Month on November 25th. Writing 2000 words a day paid off! I do have to finish writing the story, however, along with catching up with other projects and chores; and December is an extra busy month.
