Writing a Series by C.K. Crigger (link)

I enjoy a number of favorite series, including Robert Parker’s Spenser series, Terry Pratchett’s Night Watch and Witches series, Sharon Lee and Steve Miller’s Liaden stories–and many more.  However, while I’ve written the occasional sequel, I’ve never tackled a series so I enjoyed C. K. Crigger’s guest post on Morgen Bailey’s writing blog: http://morgenbailey.wordpress.com/2014/03/13/guest-post-writing-a-series-by-c-k-crigger/

  1. I’ve never tried a series either, thanks for posting, will be a useful read 🙂

  2. I’ve never gotten beyond one sequel for a story, and yet I have some fun characters…

  3. In beginning the fourth book of the China Bohannon series, I read part of Three Seconds to Thunder to get back in my character’s skin. On the other hand, Boothenay Irons, (Gunsmith series) almost seems like my second self. When I wrote the fifth book, it was as though there’d never been a gap.
