Remodeling: Buying and Updating a Foreclosure
How we coped with selling a house–at last, looking for a new house, buying a new house that was a foreclosure and needed lots of work, and then remodeling it since it didn’t even have a kitchen sink!
Whortleberry Press has a variety of books to choose from, including Strange Christmas, Stange Halloween, and Strange Mysteries: http://whortleberrypress.com/
And check out their ebook listings:
I’ve added three more stories to my reprint collection, The Doorway and Other Stories, for a total of 14 fun stories. The new stories are The Trees of Home (fantasy), Well Met by Water (SF, not fantasy, mermaids), and Carnies (genetic engineering).
I haven’t finished proofreading all the stories yet because I’m having a problem with that, but last time I checked, The Princess Quest had some dropped lines. If anyone sees a problem, I hope you’ll let me know. (That’s why I’m only doing it for one day this time.)
I’m getting ready to start my next novel in November for NaNoWri Mo (National Novel Writing Month); I’m beginning my prep work now. I can work on character and place names, descriptions, and transfer the notes I’ve accumulated. I use notebooks for my novels; I have sections for my characters and their descriptions, animals, locations, spaceships (if I’m writing SF), timelines, etc., and I use flags to mark those sections. I have a folder too–with pockets for all the notes (written notes, clippings, pictures, maps, etc.) I’ve accumulated. My printed copy will also go in that folder. This novel will be science fiction (my favorite genre), and I’m still thinking about a title. Sometimes I have to start out with a working title, which often turns out to be the published title…
There are only a few days left to get my remodeling e-book, Remodeling: Buying and Updating a Foreclosure, at half-price: http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/71560
